Maintenance Strategy of LED Lighting System Proposed by ELS

ELS’ UD technology puts the LED engine apart from the power supply at a long distance, separating two different heat sources and much reducing failure. Our field experience over a large number of installations has clearly shown a well-proven lower failure rate over time.

Generally, remote power supply from LEDs induces problem in power quality like voltage drop or instability. This is also one reason of underperformed LED lighting system. We have engineered our UD system approach to overcome this challenge up to a distance of 200 meters. As a result, ELS proposes maintenance strategy of LED lighting system as below.

ELS Lights up Shilla Duty Free at Hong Kong International Airport

ELS has begun the lighting partner of Shilla Duty Free, Asia’s most powerful airport duty free cosmetics and perfumes retailer, at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). While this project would be over in the middle of May, 2018, we’re continuing to install and test lighting fixtures and control system including VITA Trac 25, VITA Trinkle Star, FIDES LED recessed downlight, VITA Twist II, and customized architectural lighting systems. Now ELS’ lighting system lights 6 duty free shops of the HKIA. It’s all about 30,000 lighting points.

Birth of Universal Driver: Lighting Control for Mona Lisa, Louvre Museum, Paris

The Louvre Museum houses famous art pieces including the Mona Lisa.  Years ago our European team was commissioned to come up with a lighting solution for the Louvre.  But the challenge was that no electronic components such as ballasts, transformers or drivers should be put in the ceilings for fire safety as well as to retain minimal disturbance to the existing structures. Traditionally, these components have to be put within a few meters of the lamps.
